Job summary

Franklin Hospital is seeking a full time Security Officer to join their team. The Security Officer plays an integral role in keeping patients and care team members safe, and must remain calm and logical in high-stress environments.

Reliability, time management, and excellent documentation are critical; experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. This position consists of 36 hours per week with evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• IAHSS Basic certification required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe environment through proactive patrols and incident response.
• Identifies and reports safety concerns.
• Assists clinical staff in managing disruptive individuals using approved physical intervention techniques.
• Utilizes de-escalation techniques to manage behavioral incidents.
