Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time for the Frankfort, KY hospital campus. You’ll support patient care with security procedures, patrols, and access monitoring, while earning on‑demand shifts through our program.

The role offers reliable hours, a base schedule, and opportunities to pick up extra shifts. Compensation starts at $17.51/hour with a path toward additional clinical safety experience.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• Required hospital vaccines must be received.
• Must be willing to work in and around a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in compliance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to support an orderly patient care environment.
• Document incidents and activities and communicate information to site personnel and leadership.
