Job summary

Qualifications

• Must pass security guard test and/or approved training preferred.
• Ability to drive standard shift cars.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required; second language preferred.
• Must have valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Patrols all areas of Medical Center to prevent and/or detect security problems.
• Liaise between patients/visitors and the Medical Center.
• Provides regular reports on patient/visitor issues to administration; investigates and directs inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Directs parking and dispatch duties as needed; monitors camera surveillance and alarm panels.
• Assists in dealing with disruptive patients, visitors, or staff and restrains when summoned by medical staff.
• Responds to incidents and contacts law enforcement when necessary.
