Job summary

Qualifications

• Must pass security guard test and/or approved training through Bergen County Police & Fire Academy preferred.
• Ability to drive standard shift cars.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position; knowledge of a second language preferred.
• Must have valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Patrols all areas of Medical Center to prevent security problems.
• Acts as liaison between patients/visitors and the Medical Center.
• Prepares incident reports and conducts investigations.
• Directs parking and dispatch duties as needed.
• Escorts employees to and from parking and buildings.
• Assists in responding to calls and maintaining security during shifts.
