Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of experience in physician office scheduling (healthcare background is a plus).
• Clinical experience is preferred but not required, with willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling of hospital procedures and support daily scheduling team operations.
• Be the friendly voice patients hear when they call, communicating clearly and positively.
• Stay organized and track important details to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with a team to provide excellent patient care in a supportive environment.
• Assist front office tasks: greeting patients, answering calls, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance information.
• Understand insurance processes and help patients navigate these details.
• Coordinate with the medical team to ensure information for each procedure is in place, including authorizations.
• Work with hospital staff to book procedures efficiently and enhance patient experience.
