Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a dedicated salad maker for our hospital food service team in Boston. This onsite role requires preparing and serving hot and cold foods, salads, and beverages while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service for patients, visitors, and staff.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of food service experience and the ability to read, write, and follow instructions in a fast-paced hospital environment. 40-hour work week, day shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-3 years of food service experience required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up food service areas, equipment, and serving stations.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold foods, beverages, salads, sandwiches, and other menu items.
• Stock and replenish food, supplies, utensils, and condiments.
• Transport food and supplies between preparation and service areas.
• Maintain proper food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Monitor food quality and report equipment or supply issues.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and service ware.
• Assist with dishwashing, waste disposal, and general housekeeping duties.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
