Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Must meet RSFH/SLED licensure requirements (armed – Taser) and complete TASER Training within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Protect patients, visitors and employees by providing escorts and patrolling grounds.
• Deterrence of criminal activity through routine hospital property patrols (parking lots and decks).
• Enforce policies such as parking regulations, visitation rules, and tobacco-free policies.
• Monitor activity via CCTV and respond to escalating situations.
• Document duties with daily activity logs and incident reports.
