Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a skilled RHVAC Technician to operate, monitor, maintain, and repair RHVAC and environmental control systems across the hospital campus.

The role requires 3+ years of trade experience, ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics, and willingness to work all shifts, with a preferred Stationary Engineer's License and Refrigerator Recovery Certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years trade-related experience.
• Must read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Must be available to work all shifts.
• Preferred Stationary Engineer's License.
• Refrigerator Recovery Certification.
• Experience in an institutional setting.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects and monitors RHVAC equipment and performs adjustments and repairs.
• Maintains preventive maintenance schedules as appropriate.
• Analyzes and troubleshoots using field data, manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Calibrates, repairs, maintains, and operates RHVAC and related systems.
• Records time and materials for jobs performed.
• Places orders for replacement parts and filters.
• Responds to emergency calls concerning RHVAC and related equipment.
• Demonstrates accountability for DOH, Joint Commission and ICRA requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
