Job summary

Candidates should have formal RHVAC training, a Refrigerator Recovery Certification, and the ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Four years of related experience is preferred and supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Formal RHVAC training is required.
• Refrigerator Recovery Certification is required.
• Knowledge of reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Preferred: Stationary Engineer's License.
• Four years of trade-related experience, preferably in an institutional setting; supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects and monitors RHVAC equipment daily, making adjustments and repairs.
• Responds to service and emergency RHVAC calls or assigns to RHVAC Engineers.
• Collaborates with outside contractors to ensure proper installation of equipment.
• Adheres to DOH, Joint Commission, and ICRA requirements.
