Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report security concerns to site leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
