Job summary

Abingdon Care & Rehabilitation is seeking an External Marketer to build and strengthen relationships with hospitals and referral sources in the local market, driving census growth. This role is strictly external-facing and excludes referral coordination or admissions processing.

The ideal candidate has healthcare marketing or liaison experience, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and knowledge of the local hospital market.

Qualifications

• Healthcare marketing or liaison experience preferred (SNF or hospital experience a plus).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of the local hospital market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with hospital case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and community partners.
• Conduct routine on-site hospital visits and represent Abingdon Care & Rehab services.
• Identify and develop new referral sources within the market.
• Promote the facility’s skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to key stakeholders.
• Track outreach activity, market trends, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal Admissions, Clinical, and Marketing teams to align on census goals.
