Job summary

Bayview Healthcare is seeking an External Marketer to join the Admissions team. The role focuses on executing the pre-admission referral process and census development by building and sustaining relationships with families, hospital case managers, physicians, and other stakeholders.

The position requires healthcare marketing experience and a strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with a goal of expanding market share.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Thorough knowledge of communication, mass media, advertising, policies, education, community relations and related operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to assimilate information from multiple sources, analyze it and make recommendations to the Administrator.
• Ability to establish, implement, and maintain an effective marketing and public relations program.

The primary responsibility is execution of the pre-admission referral process and Census Development by establishing and maintaining community relationships with potential customers, families, hospital case managers, physicians and other key stake holders, ensuring consistent achievement of strategic goals and market share growth.

Requirements of the External Marketer / Community Liaison:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in marketing and/or public relations.

Experience of the External Marketer / Community Liaison:

• Three (3) years marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Must possess a thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, policies, education, community relations, demonstration, organization structure, social and activity services, and government relations, etc., as they relate to nursing Facility operations.
• Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing.
• Must possess the ability to assimilate information from a variety of sources, analyze information, and make recommendations to the Administrator.
• Must possess the ability to establish, implement, and maintain effective marketing and public relations program.
