Chicago Behavioral Hospital in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a full-time Receptionist for day shift (Mon-Fri, 7a-3:30p). Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering the switchboard, handling deliveries and mail, and providing clerical support to staff.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least two years on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a healthcare setting. CBH offers strong benefits and career opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Two (2) years’ experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a heath care environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting all visitors, answering the switchboard, documenting incoming deliveries, processing incoming and outgoing mail and providing clerical support as requested.
