Job summary

Chicago Behavioral Hospital in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a full-time Receptionist for day shift (Mon-Fri, 7a-3:30p). Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering the switchboard, handling deliveries and mail, and providing clerical support to staff.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least two years on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a healthcare setting. CBH offers strong benefits and career opportunities.

• Two (2) years’ experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a heath care environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment preferred.

We are looking for motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients. The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors, answering the switchboard, documenting incoming deliveries, processing incoming and outgoing mail and providing clerical support as requested.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

• Education & Licensure: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Two (2) years’ experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a heath care environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment preferred.

Compensation:

This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range for this role is $17.00-$22.00 an hour. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Receptionist!
