Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience operating multi-line telephone switchboard in a healthcare setting preferred.
• CPR and Handle With Care certifications required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Receive hospital visitors and direct them appropriately; ensure sign-in.
• Answer and disseminate incoming calls on the switchboard in a timely, courteous manner.
• Use the paging system to make announcements as required.
• Promote a positive working environment and guest relations.
