Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead security staff across facilities and grounds. The role includes scheduling, incident investigations, and collaboration with CW leaders to ensure safety. The candidate should bring 5+ years of security experience, supervisory exposure, and healthcare security awareness.

The position is full-time, on-site, with evening hours and some weekend work. DAAT/DTS and IAHSS training are required within stated timeframes to ensure readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
• 5+ years of security experience with supervisory duties.
• Healthcare/security knowledge and incident reporting skills.
• DAAT/DTS and IAHSS certs or trainings required within specified windows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, supervises, and reviews security personnel across facilities and grounds.
• Plans schedules to ensure constant coverage and responds to shortages or emergencies.
• Inspects security of facilities, staff, patients, and visitors; prepares reports.
• Assists in policy development and implementation for CW security.
• Reviews incident reports and investigates follow-up as needed.
• Interfaces with CW leaders to coordinate department activities.
• Responds to emergencies, including crowd control and firefighting duties.
• Contributes to training programs within the security department.
• Manages employees including engagement, recruitment, and performance development.
