Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Full-time Powerhouse Technician in Michigan to install, inspect, repair and maintain hospital machinery, HVAC and building systems to keep the campus comfortable and safe.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid High Pressure Boiler Operator license, a Michigan driver's license, and at least three years of powerhouse experience. Strong problem solving and the ability to read blueprints are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current High Pressure Boiler Operator license.
• Valid Michigan Driver's License.
• Working knowledge of HVAC and Building Automation Systems.
• Ability to read, write, perform mathematical computations and follow complex instructions.
• Able to interpret blueprints and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, repair and maintain powerhouse equipment.
• Maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment for hospital campus.
• Control temperature in buildings using BAS and manual controls.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance using work orders.
• Respond to emergencies and call-ins.
• Demonstrate commitment to Trinity Health values and compliance with policies.
