Washington Health in Fremont, CA seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist Pharmacists with medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management, while adhering to hospital policies.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, a CPhT or Pharm Intern license, and a hospital pharmacy background. Experience with IV admixtures, Pyxis, barcoding, and 340B is preferred, with ability to work all shifts.

Formación

• Mandatory high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• CPhT or Pharm Intern.
• Mandatory completion of a technician training program or equivalent pharmacy technician hospital work experience required.
• CPhT certification or Pharm Intern license.
• Current Pharmacy Technician registration with the California State Board of Pharmacy is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
• Maintain drug inventory and follow hospital policies.
• Process drug and supply orders; review and sort items.
• Prepare IV admixtures and chemotherapy; Pyxis and barcoding tasks.
• Interview patients to complete Medication Reconciliation.
• Knowledge of 340B is a plus; prior auth and retail experience helpful.
