Job summary

Kindred Hospital San Diego is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV solutions, under direct supervision. The role requires accurate labeling, data entry, and supporting inventory and dispensing duties.

Candidate should have a high school diploma, good math/science skills, and fluent English. Experience in a hospital pharmacy is preferred and 0% travel is expected. Benefits are offered by ScionHealth.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Basic understanding of computer processing of prescription orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication.
• Mixes pharmaceutical preparations and labels bottles.
• Process records of medication and equipment dispensed to patient; enter data in computer.
• Prepare IV packs and IV additive solutions via aseptic technique.
