Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing medications, assisting patients, and maintaining daily operations with a focus on safety and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include IV admixture, inventory management, and collaboration with the health system across Puget Sound facilities. Qualified candidates hold WA licensure and a High School diploma, with IV compounding experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Graduate or High School/GED.
• 6 months compounding of IV medication.
• License as a Pharmacy Technician by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy.

Aufgaben

• Prepares, distributes and delivers medications in accordance with CSH policies and procedures, The Joint Commission requirements, and Department of Health regulations.
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks in support of the day to day operations of the department.
• Maintains proper medication and supply stock levels
• Operates and maintains automated medication delivery systems and devices.
• Participates in department quality assurance programs and maintains appropriate quality assurance documentation.
• Trained and certified in IV admixture preparation including all regulatory and compliance requirements with required training and documentation. This may include preparation and handling of hazardous / chemotherapy medication if applicable.
