Qualifikationen

• Pharmacy technician experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Registration or intern license with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
• ACPE Sterile Products certification to be obtained within 3 months of hire.

Aufgaben

• Prepare sterile products for pharmacist check.
• Maintain computer patient profiles with medication orders.
• Label and dispense medications for final check by the pharmacist.
• Deliver medications and participate in quality monitoring.
• Generate reports and maintain patient records.
• Participate in department quality improvement activities.
• Assist in medication purchasing, inventory control, and distribution.
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff.
