CPS, part of Optum, seeks a Pharmacy Technician for per-diem coverage at Via Linda Behavioral Hospital in Scottsdale, AZ. The role supports pharmacists by preparing, delivering, and restocking medications across units; ensures Omnicell stock and unit-dose packaging; handles checks for outdates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Registered, or able to become registered, as a pharmacy technician in Arizona.
• 1+ years hospital experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, delivering, and restocking medications to the various units/departments.
• Obtaining the necessary medications to stock the Omnicell machines, including unit-dose packaging of bulk tablets and capsules.
• Performs routine checks for medication outdates.
• Maintains pharmacy cleanliness in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Assist with additional pharmacy duties as needed.
