Job summary

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a per diem Pharmacy Technician to provide coverage during a full-time leave, with potential to continue on an as-needed basis thereafter.

Responsibilities include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; data entry; stocking Omnicell machines; checking for outdates; and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. AZ registration is required or obtainable, high school diploma and Word skills needed.

Qualifications

• Hospital experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, delivering, and restocking medications to the various units/departments.
• Data / order entry.
• Obtaining the necessary medications to stock Omnicell machines, including unit-dose packaging of bulk tablets and capsules.
• Performs routine checks for medication outdates.
• Maintains pharmacy cleanliness in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Assist with additional pharmacy duties as needed.
