Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy. This 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period) position requires in-person work, primarily days and evenings, with Monday–Friday schedule and every 3rd weekend.

Under pharmacist supervision you will prepare medications, verify calculations, and support sterile compounding as trained. Strong computer skills and teamwork are essential to maintain efficient pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program or completion of a 240-hour employer-based Technician training Program or 1,000 hours of Pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, label, and deliver medications after pharmacist/technician check.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosing.
• Aseptically prepare IV admixtures and sterile products when trained.
• Assist with triaging pharmacy calls and issue resolution.
