Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare's Whittier Clinic Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in person. Under supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will prepackage, label, and distribute prescriptions, answer phones, and help with inventory and cash handling.

This casual, in-person role requires a Minnesota pharmacy tech registration or intern license, strong customer service, and ability to prioritize tasks. Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Pharmacy Technician Registration with MN State Board.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification within 1 year, or Intern License.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones and directs calls to appropriate personnel.
• Prepackages, labels, and hands out prescriptions after pharmacist check.
• Maintains cash registers, processes deposits, bills and credits.
• Stocks inventory and maintains a clean, organized pharmacy area.
• Triages orders, processes prescriptions, and documents in EMR.
