MetroHealth System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmaceutical care in specialty and inpatient pharmacies, delivering medication-related services to in-house patients and take-home medications. You will assist pharmacists, participate in quality control, and uphold MetroHealth System's mission and customer service standards.

The role requires a high school diploma and state certification/registration within 90 days, with preference for prior inpatient or retail pharmacy

Qualificações

• HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• 18 years of age or older with no felony convictions, per Ohio Revised Code 4729.42.
• Must hold pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) within 90 days of hire; maintains certification thereafter.
• Must be registered as a Certified Pharmacy Technician or as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy and become certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, performs duties in the delivery of pharmaceutical care in specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
• Delivers medication-related services to in-house patients and related take-home medication services.
• Assists Pharmacists in performing quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
