Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Winchester Center for Cancer Care is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician. You’ll stock automated dispensing machines, prepare IVs, and support sterile and non-sterile compounding under USP 797/800, 795.

A Mass Registered Pharmacy Technician license, PTCB or EXCPT, and 1–3 years hospital pharmacy experience are required. This daytime role offers on-site parking and a collaborative environment with mentorship for students and technicians, with a focus on safety,

Qualifications

Mass Registered Pharmacy Technician license and certification requirements.
1–3 years related hospital pharmacy experience.
Experience with computer systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Restocks ADSs and floor stock medications according to workflow.
Delivers medications in compliance with DEA, DPH and state regs.
Prepares and delivers IV medications per USP 797/800 standards.
Compounds non-sterile products and repackages according to USP 795/800.
Checks for expired meds and disposes per regulations.
Mentors students and pharmacy technicians.
Prepares sterile/non-sterile products including TPNs and chemo, per USP standards.
Suggests workflow efficiencies with Lead technicians.
Maintains staffing in two or more areas of the pharmacy.
