Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring a full-time Pharmacy Technician for our Winchester Center for Cancer Care, 620 Washington St. The role involves unit dose distribution, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and delivering meds to nursing areas in a hospital setting.

Expect adherence to DEA/DPH rules and epic workflows, with mentorship to students and technicians. We offer day shifts, on-site parking, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mass Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.
• PTCB or EXCPT certification required.
• Experience with computer systems and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Restocks ADSs and floor stock meds, following Epic workflows.
• Delivers medications and ensures compliance with DEA, DPH, and state regs.
• Prepares IV meds per USP 797/800 and maintains related records.
• Compounds non-sterile products and repackages bulk supplies.
• Checks for expired medications and proper disposal per regulations.
• Mentors students and technicians; contributes to training.
