Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Winchester Hospital is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to restock medications and keep Pyxis stations updated to ensure safe and timely distribution to patient care units.

The role involves rotating weekend shifts, delivering to off-site locations, and reporting to the Pharmacy Operations Manager. A Pharmacy Technician National Certification is required, with proficiency in English essential for communication with patients and staff.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year as a certified pharmacy technician preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsabilidades

• Providing support to the patient care team assisting in medication dispensing.
• Restocks clinical unit automated medication dispensing station by visiting assigned patient.
• Delivers medication to patient unit and Winchester Hospital locations not stocked in the automated dispensing station.
• Replaces Pyxis station narcotic stock on patient care units and ensures proper sign-off from clinicians.
