Jupiter Medical Center, Inc. seeks a Manager of Pharmacy Operations to lead daily hospital pharmacy activities and supervise staff, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient medication services in a fast-paced environment.

The role reports to the Director of Pharmacy Services and focuses on staffing within budget, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ongoing process improvements to enhance patient care and safety across the department.

Qualificações

• PharmD required from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Minimum 5 years experience, including 2 years hospital practice.
• Florida Pharmacist license required; Florida-licensed Consultant Pharmacist within 12 months of start date.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and supervise department staff.
• Interview and orient new employees; coordinate training to ensure competency.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings (Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Infection Control, Medication Safety).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (Florida Board of Pharmacy, Joint Commission, FDA, DEA, CMS).
• Develop and maintain department policies, procedures, and staffing plans within budget.
• Lead teams to set SMART goals and promote employee growth and development.
• Collaborate with Clinical Pharmacy Program Manager, Informatics Pharmacist, and other leaders to optimize processes.
• Maintain documentation of employee education and performance; conduct annual evaluations.
