Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification: Pharmacy license.

Responsibilities

• Assumes duties of Director of Pharmacy in his/her absence.
• Supervises the compounding, dispensing, ordering, and proper storage of all pharmaceuticals.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure proper operations.
• Directs the work of pharmacy staff.
• Assists in assuring JCAHO requirements and Medicare participation.
• Maintains records and documentation per local, state, and federal laws.
