Job summary

Medication Review Inc seeks a Pharmacy Management Pharmacist to support hospitals under contract for management services. The role covers staff and/or pharmacy manager duties, reporting to the VP of Pharmacy Management. You will oversee pharmacy operations, budgets, and policy compliance within the hospital setting.

Ideal candidates will have PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, WA licensure, and hospital pharmacy experience, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of a College of Pharmacy accredited by the ACPE.
Hold a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Currently licensed as a pharmacist in Washington state.
Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

Performs the duties of staff pharmacist/pharmacy manager when necessary.
Plan, direct, and coordinate services of the pharmacy department.
Monitor and evaluate pharmaceutical services and oversee proper utilization of pharmaceuticals.
Develop and monitor hospital pharmacy policies and procedures, updated annually.
Assist in emergency pharmaceutical services when community pharmacy is unavailable.
Participate in budget development and monitoring with hospital administration.
Ensure quality control of all pharmacy programs and oversee inventory and purchasing.
Serve as a resource on medications for physicians and hospital staff.
Represent the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and related hospital meetings.
