Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's CPS unit seeks a Director of Pharmacy to lead operations at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, OH. You will oversee services, ensure safe medication use, and align activities with clinical, quality, and financial goals to drive outcomes.

You will build a high-performing team, manage budgets and contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering with CPS leadership to advance innovation and patient care across the system.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD).
• Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing.
• 2+ years of pharmacy management experience or PGY-2 residency.
• Hospital pharmacy management experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all pharmacy services within a single hospital.
• Ensure safe, effective, evidence-based medication use and formulary management.
• Lead and develop pharmacy leadership and staff, including managers and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, USP, BOP and state/federal laws.
• Oversee budgeting, purchasing, contracts, and cost-containment initiatives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support system-wide patient care, quality and safety.
• Drive innovation and performance improvement leveraging data and technology.
