Job summary

CPS Solutions, LLC, in partnership with Fremont Hospital, seeks a Pharmacy Leader to oversee hospital pharmacy services, align clinical, quality, and financial goals, and lead staff including managers, pharmacists, technicians, and support teams.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, formulary management, budgeting, contract oversight, and driving innovation to improve patient care and safety within a 148-bed behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy (required)
• Current Licensed Pharmacist in California (required)

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic leadership and oversight for all pharmacy services within a single hospital, aligning operations with clinical, quality, and financial goals
• Oversees safe, effective, evidence-based medication use including formulary management
• Leads and develops pharmacy leadership and staff including managers, pharmacists, technicians, and support teams
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and legal requirements (Joint Commission, CMS, USP, BOP and state/federal laws)
• Oversees pharmacy financial performance including budgeting, purchasing, contract management, and cost-containment initiatives
• Collaborates with executive leadership and interdisciplinary stakeholders to support system-wide patient care, quality, and safety initiatives
• Drives innovation, performance improvement, and strategic growth using data and technology
