Job summary

Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama (RMCCA) in Greenville, Alabama seeks an experienced Director of Pharmacy to join our leadership team. You will oversee daily hospital pharmacy operations, ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, and lead 340B program management to optimize patient care.

The role requires a PharmD, Alabama license or eligibility, and hospital pharmacy leadership experience.

Qualifications

PharmD degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
Current Alabama pharmacist license or eligibility for Alabama licensure.
Hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
Pharmacy leadership or management experience preferred.
340B experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Overseeing daily hospital pharmacy operations and staff.
Ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy requirements.
Managing and maintaining compliance with the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
Overseeing medication safety, purchasing, inventory, and controlled substances.
Managing the pharmacy budget and supporting cost-effective medication practices.
Working closely with administration, physicians, nursing, and other hospital departments.
