Alchemy is seeking a Pharmacist In Charge/Pharmacy Manager to lead local operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional patient care within a growing 340B program. The role requires strong leadership, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to manage staffing, workflow, medication therapy management, and collaboration with clinicians to optimize patient outcomes.

Pharmacist license in Alabama is required; experience with PioneerRx or BestRx is preferred, and the candidate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's (RPh) or PharmD from an accredited university.
• Alabama Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Experience with PioneerRx and/or BestRx.
• Strong interpersonal, managerial, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all local operations and staffing.
• Fill and dispense prescriptions per state rules with accuracy.
• Support insurance benefit investigations and financial assistance options.
• Resolve third-party rejection issues and resubmit claims.
• Review KPIs and coordinate with central operations for improvements.
• Seek professional development in pharmacy management and 340B.
• Build relationships with community, clinic partners, and stakeholders.
• Provide direct patient care and medication therapy management.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Communicate with providers on therapy compatibility and care.
