Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a staff pharmacist in California to support hospital pharmacy operations under the Director of Pharmacy. You will help ensure drug therapy needs and collaborate with medical staff and nursing services.

The ideal candidate holds a CA-licensed Pharm.D. and, preferably, a hospital residency, with at least two years of hospital pharmacy experience and familiarity with unit dose, IV admixtures, and clinical pharmacy practice.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacist in CA (R.Ph. or Pharm.D) required.
• Prefer Pharm.D. with hospital residency.
• Prefer at least 2 years hospital pharmacy experience.
• Familiar with unit dose, IV admixtures, and clinical pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure drug therapy needs and supervise department personnel in absence of Director or Assistant Director.
• Establish rapport with medical staff, nursing services and other departments.
