Mercy Health – St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nurses and care teams. The role involves assisting with basic care, monitoring vitals, sanitation, mobility, and documenting care in the EHR.

This full-time position runs 7am-7pm, with every 3rd weekend, and may require floating to units. Prior nurse aide training or STNA/CNA is preferred; BLS is a plus. Mercy Health offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualificações

• Nursing aide training program completed or STNA/CNA certification or nursing program with clinical rotation.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred upon hire.
• Recent experience in acute care or related setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic patient care including comfort, hygiene and mobility assistance.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nurse promptly.
• Assist with meals, grooming and activities, and maintain patient rooms.
• Document care accurately in the EHR and participate in hand-offs.
• Engage with staff and patients in a professional manner.
