Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring for Patient Transporter roles at Ascension Columbia St Mary’s in Milwaukee. The position covers both full-time and part-time schedules with rotating weekends and holidays, and the pay rate is $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include safe transport of patients and equipment, coordination with nursing staff, and ensuring patient comfort and safety during moves within the hospital.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to transport patients safely and respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients and secures IVs, drainage tubes, etc.
• Uses wheelchairs and rolling stock to move patients as required.
• Assists in transporting patients across the hospital to destinations.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff and other personnel.
• Ensures patient comfort and privacy during transport; avoids unnecessary conversation.
