Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Patient Flow Manager to lead a team of Patient Flow Coordinators and Transporters within a hospital setting. The role focuses on efficient patient transport operations, staff development, and adherence to regulatory standards.

You will coordinate transportation services, monitor performance, and work with other departments to optimize patient flow while supporting budgetary goals and cost control.

Qualifications

• Management experience in hospital environment or patient transportation preferred.
• Analytical ability to interpret statistical data and trends.
• Basic computer skills; ability to troubleshoot system problems on Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Patient Flow Coordinators and Transporters in a hospital setting.
• Develop dispatcher logic and supervise dispatcher activities; monitor transporter operations.
• Coordinate Patient Transportation with other departments and establish service agreements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (e.g., Federal, State, JCAHO, OSHA, CDC).
• Orient, train, and develop staff at all levels (dispatchers, drivers, couriers, etc.).
• Assist director in achieving budgetary objectives and controlling expenses.
