Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital. This full-time role offers 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and opportunities to support patient meals and nutritional needs.

You will work on assigned units, assist with menu selections, assemble and deliver trays, and ensure safety and comfort. Prior dietary aide experience is preferred, and the pay ranges from $15.00 to $18.94 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional needs.
• Collaborate with care teams to offer menu alternatives for allergies and cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain cleanliness of work stations.
• Support dietitians by monitoring patients on specific diets when needed.
