Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing for nutrition requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu alternatives for allergies and preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections, retrieve trays on time.
• Follow HIPAA and confidentiality policies; maintain sanitation and HACCP guidelines.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on various diets as needed.
• Communicate issues to the appropriate personnel promptly and document properly.
