Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Macon, GA is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for a full-time role on 12-hour shifts. You will support on assigned units by helping patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering and retrieving meal trays, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications include reading, writing and interpreting English, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and push delivery carts. Competitive benefits are provided.

• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure dietary requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and cultural/religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Adhere to HIPAA and health/sanitation regulations and HACCP guidelines.
• Assist dietitians as needed and communicate issues to appropriate staff.
• Complete required daily/weekly/monthly reports.
