Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for a full-time role at St Joseph/Candler in Savannah, GA. You will assist with menu selections, assemble meals, deliver trays, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of service.

Join a team that prioritizes patient safety, HIPAA compliance, and high standards of sanitation. Rotating weekends may be required; prior experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately for each patient.
• Retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and HIPAA policies.
• Assist dietitians with patients on special diets.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as required.
