Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at Morgan Medical Center in Madison, GA is seeking a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for full-time and part-time shifts, 11:30 am–8:00 pm. You will assist patients with menu choices, assemble and deliver meals, and coordinate with care teams to meet nutritional requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies and preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays on time.
• Comply with HIPAA, HACCP and infection control policies.
• Support dietitians by monitoring patients on restricted diets and documenting observations.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in policies.
