Central Florida Behavioral Hospital in Orlando is seeking a Patient Accounts Representative to manage a group of accounts from discharge to final disposition. You will bill to third-party insurers and follow up with insurers and patients on balances, with additional duties including cash posting and handling credit balances.

The role involves ensuring accurate, timely handling of patient accounts in a private psychiatric center committed to high-quality care and dignity for patients across ages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year hospital billing experience.
• Average to high math skills required.
• Detail oriented with high accuracy; good organizational skills and prioritization.
• Experience with MS4, Midas, Emdeon and MS Office; Excel/Word proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Bill the patient’s account to third party insurers.
• Follow up with insurers and patients for balances.
• Recommend placement of the account if payment cannot be obtained.
• Cash posting, evaluation of credit balances, and responding to inquiries.
