Summa Health ACH Cooper Infusion is hiring a Hospital Office Associate to perform general receptionist and clerical tasks. You will greet visitors, check-in patients, and schedule appointments while handling insurance verification and billing in a fast-paced clinic setting.
The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and strong computer skills with department software such as Soarian, HER or EPIC. A high school diploma and 1 year of clinic experience are preferred.

Performs general receptionist and some secretarial activities to include receiving and transferring all incoming telephone calls, greeting and directing visitors, providing patient check-in, making appointments, and performing general clerical duties (e.g. copying, typing, filing, etc.). Acts as initial contact to Patient Access Services: verification of insurance; service registration; appointment scheduling; collects copays. Submits billing to specific payers for services rendered accurately, timely, and in compliance with federal, state, and payer specific regulations. Collects and manages data sets. Operates department software effectively and efficiently.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
