Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 3 years related experience and/or education.
• Understanding of nutrition services, common modified diets, and portion measures.
• Ability to lead assignments and reschedule staff in the absence of supervisor.
• Ability to use business computer software and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients with menu and tray/patient meal service.
• Edit patient menus and prepare production sheets in the diet office.
• Lead in tray assembly and ensure accurate menu compliance and food quality.
• Deliver and serve meals, handling special requests as needed.
• Interact with patients, families, and other hospital staff with good customer service.
