Qualifications

• Two-year degree in a nutrition-related field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServeSafe certification required within 90 days of hire.
• IAMTAC certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient education regarding individual therapeutic diet orders.
• Assists patients with menu selections and nutrition-related requests.
• Prepares production information for kitchen staff and ensures accurate diet orders.
• Prints and manages patient tray tickets and communication with clinical dietitians.
• Maintains CBORD patient data and supports diet office reporting.
• Participates in performance improvement and patient safety initiatives.
