Job summary

Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital is seeking a part-time food service team member in Ogden, UT. You will assemble and deliver patient trays, assist with cashier duties, and support food preparation while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires a Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification by day one and prefers experience with modified diets and customer service. Barista experience is a plus; 24 hours per week with early morning shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivers and presents patient trays using the standard process.
• Performs food preparation functions per system standards (salads, sandwiches, vegetables, fruit).
• Follows Nutrition Services practices for dining experience, meal delivery, stock levels.
• Performs housekeeping tasks including cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and equipment.
• Handles accurate cash/credit transactions and resolves basic customer service issues.
